The associate dean serves the office for institutional diversity by implementing and coordinating various programs and initiatives focused on student retention and success. The associate dean oversees the Multicultural Resource Center and Dr. Chi has over 12 years of experience in higher education and student affairs. She obtained her Ph.D. in Education and Leadership from Pacific University and holds a M.A. in Educational Administration and Leadership, Student Affairs. As the MRC Director, she leads a team of student staff members to provide culturally-relevant programming, services, and events. The MRC strives to remain a student-centered and student-driven space. The MRC student staff lead programmatic efforts, plan cultural events, provide peer-to-peer support, and facilitate discussions related to identity, culture, privilege, power, and social justice.
